Mezuzah – Amber Vortex for Crushed Wedding Glass

This wedding mezuzah combines handmade fused glass with hand cast pewter. The Vortex Amber pattern, a sgrafitto (Italian for scratched) technique, in the glass, creates a bold design. The tube on the front is for the bride and groom to fill with the broken glass shards from the wedding ceremony. Included with the mezuzah are the nails to hang it as well as a scroll (non-kosher) which fits in the back. This piece was designed by Sara Beames.
